The Manchester Thunder Performance Pathway is our talent development programme, designed to discover and nurture the next generation of elite netballers across the North West.
Running from U11s through to U23s, the pathway provides young athletes with high-quality coaching, competitive match play, and holistic support to help them progress both on and off the court.
Players benefit from regular training sessions, specialist workshops, and opportunities to learn directly from Thunder’s elite coaching team and Super League stars, learning to play ‘the Thunder Way.’
Our pathway has produced a number of current Thunder players and England internationals, proving its value as a direct route from grassroots netball to the professional game.
Each year, open trials give new athletes the chance to secure a place, while existing pathway players continue to be developed through a structured performance programme.
