Every player who steps onto the court in the famous black and yellow dress becomes part of a legacy that stretches back to our club’s origins as Northern Thunder.

Each player is awarded a unique AO Thunder cap number, recognising the order in which they made their official senior debut for the club. Once earned, that number belongs to them forever – a lasting symbol of their contribution to the history of AO Thunder.
