Eleanor Cardwell is an England international shooter renowned for her power, accuracy, and composure under pressure.

Standing at 186 cm, she is equally effective at GS and GA, offering strength in the circle and creativity in attack.

Eleanor has enjoyed success at the highest levels of the game. With Thunder, she has won multiple Netball Super League titles (2012, 2014, 2019, 2022), while her time in Australia saw her star for the Adelaide Thunderbirds, winning the 2023 Super Netball Premiership and being named Grand Final MVP. She also represented the Melbourne Mavericks before returning to Thunder in 2025.

On the international stage, Eleanor made her Roses debut in 2016 and has since become a key part of the squad, including helping England to a historic silver medal at the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Known for her physical presence, reliable shooting, and leadership, Eleanor brings a wealth of experience from both domestic and international competition. Her 2025 return to Thunder marks a homecoming — and a new chapter in her already outstanding career.
