Sophie Fawns is an Australian shooter joining Manchester Thunder for the 2026 Netball Super League season.

A product of the NSW Swifts Academy, she made her Suncorp Super Netball debut in 2022 and went on to play 44 matches across four seasons, including the 2023 Grand Final.

Fearless under the post, Sophie is known for her confident long-range shooting, sharp movement, and ability to play across both GS and GA. Her experience in the world’s toughest league has honed her composure and decision-making, making her a versatile attacking option.

Joining Thunder marks Sophie’s first overseas move, forming an exciting partnership in the circle alongside Eleanor Cardwell.
