Welcome to our first ever Manchester Thunder Netball Residential Summer Camp – an unforgettable high-performance experience designed to inspire, challenge, and develop the next generation of netballers.
Open to girls currently in years 6 to 10 of the 2025/26 academic year, our 3 night, 4 day holiday camp will run from Monday 24th August – Thursday 27th August 2026 and is hosted at the stunning Rossall School in Fleetwood, where athletes will live, train, and compete in a supportive environment built for growth on and off the court.
Delivered by Manchester Thunder coaching staff, this exclusive residential camp brings elite training, professional insight, and team culture together in one incredible setting.

Introducing RoSSALL SCHOOL
Rossall School is set within one of the most impressive school campuses in the UK, occupying a breathtaking 160-acre estate on the Lancashire coastline in Fleetwood, with sweeping sea views, expansive green spaces, and a blend of historic architecture and modern development
The campus boasts outstanding sporting facilities, including multiple indoor sports halls, high-quality netball courts, extensive grass pitches, strength and conditioning spaces, and dedicated performance areas. These facilities allow athletes to train, recover, and compete in a professional, focused setting regardless of weather.
Rossall’s on-site boarding accommodation provides a safe, comfortable, and welcoming residential experience, supported by communal spaces ideal for social activities. The self-contained nature of the campus means athletes can live, train, eat, and relax all in one place – fostering team cohesion and immersion.

What ages is the camp for?
The camp is open to girls currently in year 6 to year 10 for the 2025-26 academic year.
What do players need to bring to the residential camp?
A full kit list is sent out in advance to all attendees, covering all the essentials—trainers, sportswear, swimming kit, casual clothes, towels etc.
Can my child room with her friends?
The booking form will have an option to note down 1 friend your child would like to room with. We will try our best to accommodate these requests.
Can my child be in the same group as her friends during the day?
Players will be split into groups according to their ability for daytime sessions. We will also take age into account so it is likely your child would be in the same group as their friends.
What food is available at camp?
3 meals a day will be included (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and morning and afternoon snacks. A tuck shop will be available where additional snacks can be purchased. All dietary requirements will be catered for details for this can noted on the sign-up form.

How much is the residential netball camp?
– £599 : 4 day residential with accommodation
– £300 : 4 day only session campers – no accommodation (£75 per day)
This includes a non-refundable deposit of £299 for residential with accommodation and £150 for day only session campers.

Can my child attend as a day only camper?
Yes. Players can choose to attend on a day rate rather than stay overnight. The rate for day athletes is £75 per day, and they must attend all 4 days bringing the total to £300. This includes lunch and morning and afternoon snacks.
What happens if I sign up to camp and my child can no longer attend?
There is a non-refundable deposit applied to both residential packages
All remaining payments will be due by 05.07.26, after this date we will unfortunately not be able to issue any refunds. This is due to the extensive planning and scheduling required to deliver a residential netball camp.
We are unable to provide refunds unless refund request is due to severe sickness or injury supported by doctor/physio letter. If cancellation is agreed it will be subject to an admin fee.
What is the daily schedule for camp?
Each day is carefully structured to balance development and enjoyment. The schedule includes technical and tactical skill sessions, NSL player-led coaching, match play, strength & conditioning, PA video analysis, beach activities, team bonding, and organised evening entertainment.
Is there a lifeguard at the swimming pool session?
Yes – a qualified lifeguard will be in attendance at all pool sessions.
How does my child get to camp?
Players are asked to make their own way to camp and arrive by 11:00am on the first day. Full details and directions will be provided, and we are happy to advise on the nearest train stations. The last session will finish at 3pm on the final day with pick up & off site by 3.30pm.
Are parents allowed to watch any of the sessions?
We wrap up the camp on the last day with an exciting match play tournament, open for parents to watch. Timings to be confirmed.
Is there pastoral support available during the residential?
Yes – Thunder staff members who are pastorally trained will be there for the duration of the residential.

Terms and Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
All bookings must be completed via the official booking system.
A place is only confirmed once the deposit or full payment has been received.
- Participants are expected to attend all 4 days.
Payments are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Manchester Thunder.
- If paying a deposit, all remaining payments will be due by 05.07.26. After this date no refunds will be issued. This is due to the extensive planning and scheduling required to deliver a residential netball camp.
Manchester Thunder reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at their discretion.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
If the residential is cancelled by Manchester Thunder for reasons beyond their control (including but not limited to extreme weather, venue issues, or public health guidance), a refund or credit may be offered at Manchester Thunder’s discretion.
No refunds will be given for late arrival, early departure or non-attendance.
- In the case of severe sickness or injury, a refund may be applied for in support of a doctor/physio letter, and refunds issued at the discretion of Manchester Thunder. Any refunds will be less deposit and subject to an admin fee.
3. Participant Eligibility
Participants must meet the stated age and eligibility criteria at the time of booking, which is participants in school years 6 to 10 for the 2025/26 academic year.
All participants must be able to safely take part in the planned activities.
- Any additional needs, disabilities, injuries, or medical conditions must be declared at the time of booking so we can assess whether appropriate support or reasonable adjustments can be made.
4. Health, Medical & Welfare
By booking, parents/guardians confirm that the participant is fit to participate, and all medical conditions and emergency contacts must be entered in the form at the time of booking.
Manchester Thunder reserve the right to administer basic first aid and seek emergency medical treatment if required.
Any prescribed medication must be clearly labelled and handed in according to residential camp procedures.
Participants who are unwell or injured may be withdrawn from activities for their own safety.
5. Behaviour & Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, coaches, other participants, and the venue.
Bullying, discrimination, unsafe behaviour, or serious misconduct will not be tolerated.
Manchester Thunder reserve the right to send a participant home at the parent/guardian’s expense if behaviour is deemed unacceptable. No refund will be issued.
6. Residential Rules
Participants must follow all accommodation rules, curfews, and supervision guidelines.
- The booking form will have an option to note down 1 friend your child would like to room with. Manchester Thunder will try their best to accommodate these requests, however it can not be guaranteed.
Leaving the campus or accommodation without permission is strictly prohibited.
Any damage to property caused by a participant may result in charges payable by the parent/guardian.
7. Safeguarding
The camp operates under safeguarding policies aligned with national governing body standards.
All staff and coaches are appropriately vetted.
Participants must follow safeguarding guidelines at all times.
8. Photography & Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during the residential for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes.
At the time of booking, parents/guardians may opt out to consent to the use of images and videos.
9. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
Manchester Thunder accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
Valuables should not be brought to camp.
10. Liability
Participation is at the participant’s own risk.
Manchester Thunder are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by proven negligence.
Parents/guardians accept that sport carries an inherent risk of injury.
11. Programme Changes
Manchester Thunder reserve the right to amend the programme, coaching staff, schedule, or activities if required.
Any changes will be communicated where possible but do not entitle the participant to a refund.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By completing the booking form and paying, parents/guardians confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the participant.
