Lois Pearson is a Manchester-born attacker and England international who has grown through the Thunder pathway to become a key part of the Thunder front line.
Lois first joined the Manchester Thunder pathway in 2012 and progressed through the age-group systems while also playing for her local club, YWCA Bury. She made her Netball Super League debut in 2021, stepping up from a training partner to the main squad.
As part of the Thunder squad, Lois was involved in our undefeated 2022 season and title win. In 2024 she played a leading role in driving Thunder’s attack to the Grand Final, earning recognition as Players’ Player of the Season and selection in the All Star VII side.
Her outstanding domestic performances were rewarded with a first senior call-up to the Vitality Roses in August 2024, following success in the England pathway and prior representation in the Fast5 Netball World Series.
In the 2025 pre-season, Lois sustained a leg injury. After successful surgery, Lois returned for the final round of the 2025 season, coming back as strong as ever. Â
Off the court, Lois holds a degree in Mathematics and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Manchester.
